Practice Areas: Bankruptcy law, real property law, commercial litigation and secured transactions

If you have a bankruptcy challenge, Winnifred Boylan can offer solutions!  Winn represents clients in all aspects of bankruptcy, including debtors, trustees and creditors.  A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Winn is dedicated to helping her clients achieve a more positive outcome, no matter what circumstances exist.

In addition to her work with clients who are facing bankruptcy issues, Winn’s practice includes commercial litigation in both the federal and state courts of Michigan.  Winn’s experience in the bankruptcy arena provides clients with another tool for resolving commercial/business disputes.

“People often view corporations and individuals involved in litigation, whether it is bankruptcy, commercial, or otherwise, in a negative light,” Winn explains.  “The reality, though, is that bankruptcy and litigation of any type is often beyond any one person’s immediate control - market conditions, unexpected tragedies, or the like, may be the driving force behind many disputes.  I offer my expertise to bring resolution to disputes.  Properly structured bankruptcies and out-of-court settlements, which keep legal costs and time involvement at a minimum, enable individuals and companies to become more productive contributors to the community.  Nevertheless, if the only avenue which will bring final resolve of a dispute is in to the courtroom, that is where I am prepared to go.
