Rozanne M. Giunta Phone: 989.893.3518 Practice Areas: Bankruptcy, workouts, commercial transactions Rozanne Giunta can’t recall ever wanting to do anything besides practice law. To her, the law is much more than her career; it is her passion. That passion is undeniable in – and outside of – the courtroom. With a focus on bankruptcy and out-of-court workouts for financially troubled companies and individuals, Rozanne represents debtors, secured creditors and creditors’ committees in the Bankruptcy Court. She also represents debtors and secured creditors in out-of-court workouts. “Our firm is unique in that we consider bankruptcy the last resort,” Rozanne explains. “We look at the viability of the situation: If we put this client into Chapter 11, will they emerge successfully? Overall, a huge percentage of reorganizations fail, but at Lambert Leser, our success rate is extremely high. That is because we only file a Chapter 11 if we are confident that it will be beneficial to our client.” Rozanne and partner Susan Cook are members of the Facilitative Mediation Panel for the Eastern District of Michigan Bankruptcy Court. Attorneys across the country make referrals to the pair, who have been practicing together for more than two decades. “The lawyers who concentrate on bankruptcy and workouts – those who are part of the Bankruptcy Bar – comprise a very small group nationwide,” says Rozanne. “The closeness of the group has enabled us to build relationships that help us work through cases with ease. That is a huge advantage for our clients.” Rozanne has represented corporations of all sizes, including serving as local counsel for Dow Corning Corporation's Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Her clients have also included automobile dealerships, hospitals, life care facilities, hotels and manufacturing companies of all types. In addition to bankruptcies and workouts, she often represents numerous banks including PNC Bank and Huron National Bank, secured lenders in negotiation and documentation of secured transactions and in bankruptcy settings. Rozanne has received an AV rating by Martindale Hubbell and was named in the 2006 through 2010 publications of Best Lawyers in America and Law & Politics, and the 2006 through 2010 publications of Super Lawyers Magazine in the area of debtor/creditor rights. In 2011, upon the invitation of the American College of Bankruptcy Fellows, Rozanne became a fellow in the College. To contact Rozanne, call 989.893.3518 or email her at rgiunta@lambertleser.com.
